Shabbat service / Zachary Granoff Bar Mitzvah

for Shabbat, June 13, 2020 – Mazel Tov to Zachary and his family.

This is Congregation BIAV’s first service since the onset of the coronavirus, and is a pilot for possible additional services in the near future. The service will be held outside. To assure the safety of everyone involved, we are handling attendance using limited reservations. If the form is no longer accepting reservations, please email your reservation request to assist@biav.org. Please be aware of the following special conditions:

The service will be truncated to limit the time of exposure.

• We will begin from Nishmat Kol Chai, the end of P’sukei D’zimra, at 9:30am. Plan to recite the first section of davening at home.
• The Torah will be read without distributing aliyot – the reader will receive all the aliyot.
• The Torah will not be carried around the congregation, and there will be no singing or drashot.

Please understand and comply with these restrictions:

• Face coverings must be worn by all participants, covering the mouth and nose
• A minimum of 6’ from one another must be maintained at all times
• Talleisim, Siddurim and Chumashim will not be available. Bring your own.
• If you have a fever or feel unwell you must not attend
• Children under 12 may not attend
• Hand sanitizer will be available
