We are supporting JFS and their Kesher KC Bag project which provides emergency food for folks in need of immediate food assistance.
Families (suggested ages 4 and up) will purchase the items on the list below and assemble the bags.
Join us for shopping at 10:00 AM at Walmart (103rd & Metcalf), if you wish. Bags will then be assembled in the BIAV Kiddush Room at 11:00 AM.
If you would like to support this project—the suggested cost is $7 per bag and shoppers will fill bags on your behalf.
Each bag should contain canned vegetable (pull-off lid), canned fruit/applesauce, a protein item (tuna pouch), main dish (microwaveable mac & cheese, hearty soup or stew), granola bar, and a drink.
