Shabbat services

May 29, 2021
All Day

Shabbat, May 29, 2021, Shabbat Shacharit  9:00 AM

Kabbalat Shabbat and Mincha/Maariv times are in the weekly email.

Our phased opening continues and remains dependent on our ability to maintain safety. Our return to normalcy will be fluid, maintaining constant vigilance on a weekly if not daily basis in terms of the Covid situation. We will adhere to state laws, statutes and rules. We will adhere to our recommended guidelines, including for people who have completed their vaccinations.

 This Shabbat:

Ezra Jacobs’ Bar Mitzvah

will take place at BIAV outside (weather permitting)

in case of rain, the Bar Mitzvah will be in the gym with regular minyan in the sanctuary

  • Youth Program: this week only – in the kiddush room beginning at 10:30 AM.

There will be 2 groups, limited to 10 each: ages 2-5 and ages 6-9.

Sign up is included on the Shabbat Reservations form below. Contact youthdirector@biav.org with any questions.

  • The Jacobs Family is providing take-home kiddush treats in celebration of Ezra and Rachel’s Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.

Please note, all services require mask wearing and social distancing, regardless of an individual’s vaccination status. While we are no longer requiring completion of the COVID Health Questionnaire adherence to these standards are required.

      • A minimum of 6’ from one another must be maintained at all times
      • Everyone absolutely must wear a mask: correctly, at all times, covering their nose and mouth. Valved masks are not permitted, unless an additional mask is worn over it.
      • There will be a hand sanitizing station at the door and cleansing wipes available.

Your sign-up indicates that you agree to adhere to these practices, and agree to hold Congregation BIAV harmless in regard to your attendance.
