for Shabbat, June 27, 2020

We look forward to welcoming you to Congregation BIAV’s 2nd service since the onset of the coronavirus. We had a  “pilot” 2 weeks ago and hope to continue with additional services every other week for the near future. The service will be held outside. To assure the safety of everyone involved, we are handling attendance using limited reservations. If the form is no longer accepting reservations, please email your reservation request to assist@biav.org. Please be aware of the following special conditions:

The service will be truncated to limit the time of exposure.

  • We will begin from Nishmat Kol Chai, the end of P’sukei D’zimra, at 9:30am. Plan to recite the first section of davening at home.
  • The Torah will be read without distributing aliyot – the reader will receive all the aliyot.
  • The Torah will not be carried around the congregation, and there will be no singing or drashot.

Please understand and comply with these restrictions:

  • Face coverings must be worn by all participants, covering the mouth and nose
